Service project "Keep Rockland beautiful"

June 3, 2019

CLIP is an organization dedicated to raising the leadership of young people. It has started in Puno, Peru where Lake Titicaca faces real ecological disaster due to the pollution of water from ever increasing population, legal/ illegal mining and urban waste. Already some of the species unique to the lake has gone extinct. In order to tackle those social issues related to the lake pollution, CLIP Latin America has initiated the campaign "United for Titicaca" to raise awareness of the population among local residents to take more responsibility for the conservation of the natural resources.  CLIP especially focuses on involving young people to be part of the effort to preserve this national treasure.  Our program won a national award for the citizens initiative of environmental programs by Peru Ministry of Environment in 2017.
